2019
♦ Spent most of the year at Double-A Bowie, where he went 3-3 with a 2.43 ERA in 36 games.
♦ Ranked among Orioles minor leaguers in saves (T-4th, 8) and appearances (T-8th, 37). 
♦ Limited Eastern League right-handers to a .209 average (19-91) with 21 strikeouts. 
♦ Did not surrender a home run over 176 batters faced with the Baysox. 
♦ Went 1-0 with a 1.02 ERA (2 ER, 17.2 IP) and a .215 opponent's average in 17 games at Bowie's Prince George's Stadium.

♦ Posted a 0.47 ERA (1 ER, 19.1 IP) with 25 strikeouts over his first 11 relief outings. 
♦ Set a career-high with six strikeouts, 5/7 vs. Lynchburg (3.0 IP).
♦ Went 7-for-7 in save opportunities in July, a month that saw him post a 1.35 ERA.

♦ Did not allow a run in six of his final seven outings and finished the year on a 10.1-inning scoreless stretch. 
♦ Yielded just one home run over 200 batters faced. 
♦ Held opposing batters to a .196 average with two outs. 


2016
♦ Went 2-1 with a 3.22 ERA in 13 appearances with Class-A Aberdeen.
♦ Held left-handers to a .192 average (5-26). 
♦ Earned first pro victory, 8/20 vs. Vermont. 
♦ Allowed two earned runs or less in each of his 13 games, including seven scoreless outings. 

 

PERSONAL
♦ Selected by Baltimore in the 23rd round of the 2016 draft.
♦ Attended New Mexico State University, where he made a team-high 33 appearances and posted a 3.11 ERA for the Aggies during the 2016 campaign. Was a teammate with fellow O's farmhand Kyle Bradish at NMSU. 
♦ Went to South Mountain Community College in Phoenix, AZ, for first two years of college. Finished 5-1 in 15 appearances in 2014 and led team with 26 appearances in 2015. Was a Region 1 NJCAA Champion his freshman year.
♦ Was an All-Conference outfielder and pitcher at Hamilton High School in Chandler, AZ, where he was a teammate of Dodgers All-Star Cody Bellinger. 
♦ Hamilton High School alumni include longtime NFL linebacker Terrell Suggs.
♦ Is the great-great-great nephew of the 11th President of the United States, James K. Polk.
