♦ Spent the season with Class-A Inland Empire in the Angels system, going 6-7 with a 4.28 ERA over 24 appearances (18 starts). 
♦ Ranked among Angels minor league leaders in wins (T-3rd), strikeouts (5th), starts (6th), and innings pitched (7th).
♦ Was a Midseason California League All-Star, throwing one inning in the All-Star game.
♦ Posted a 3-3 record with a 3.50 ERA and 58 strikeouts in seven starts before the break. 
♦ Named California League Pitcher of the Week on 4/28. Went 2-1 with a 1.80 ERA in April, including winning his first professional game at Lake Elsinore on the same day.
♦ Set a career high with 12 strikeouts over 5.1 innings, 5/21 vs Lancaster.

♦ Originally drafted by the Angels in the fourth round of the 2018 draft.
♦ Attended New Mexico State University in Las Cruces. Named NCAA All-American his junior year and broke the school record in strikeouts in a season (140) in 2018. Highest drafted player in New Mexico State program history. Led team in strikeouts all three seasons.
♦ Named 1st Team All-WAC both his sophomore and junior seasons. Finished fresman year as a Louisville Slugger Freshman All-American. 
♦ Played for the Falmouth Commodores in the Cape Cod League in 2017; was an All-Star.
♦ Attended Millennium High School in Goodyear, Arizona. Named First-team All-Conference and finished third in strikeouts in Arizona prep baseball with 81 strikeouts his senior year. Struck out 15 opponents in a game in 2015. 
♦ Fellow alumni of Millenium High School include NFL linebacker Marquis Flowers and current Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder Josh Rojas.
