Signed with the Philadelphia Phillies as an undrafted free agent on Aug. 13, 2024 out of Army... graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point and commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in the U.S. Army in August 2024 after majoring in Defense and Strategic Studies... was a member of Company A1 during his time as a cadet at West Point... appeared in three games with the Trenton Thunder in the MLB Draft League in 2024... before heading to Army, Gresham played at Hopewell (North Carolina) High School, where he was a three-time All-Conference honoree... recovered from offseason Tommy John Surgery to make 2024 season debut in late April, making five appearances for Army a year after he was named the Patriot League's Pitcher of the Year... in 2023, he was a First Team All-Patriot League selection, started in 10 games for the Black Knights and finished 5-1 with a 2.90 ERA through 59 innings, where he held opponents to a team-best .194 average... in 2022, he was a First Team All-Patriot League Selection as a reliever after he appeared in 19 games as a sophomore and served as the team’s primary closer... pitched in 15 games as a freshman in 2021 at Army... is one of three 2024 West Point grads to sign with a Major League organization alongside Sam Ruta and Derek Berg... son of Debbie and Kris Gresham; he has a brother, Hayden... his father, Kris, was drafted by the Baltimore Orioles in 1991 and appeared in 416 Minor League games from 1991-98, reaching Triple-A with Toledo and Rochester; in 1251 at-bats, he finished with 22 homers, 130 RBIs and 15 stolen bases
