2015 Highlights
• Split the year between Triple-A Fresno (Houston) and Double-A Bowie, going 5-2 with three saves and a 4.45 ERA in 46 appearances between the two clubs
• Opened the season in Fresno, going 4-2 with three saves and a 4.91 ERA in 35 appearances
• Held Pacific Coast League batters to a .211 average, with right-handers batting .191 (18-94) against him
• Went 3-1 with a 4.01 ERA (11 ER, 24.2 IP) and a .180 average against (16-89) in 21 home games for Fresno
• Yielded eight earned runs over 2.2 innings in three appearances from June 15-21; Without those three outings, his ERA with the Grizzlies would have been 3.48 (16 ER, 41.1 IP)
• Earned three saves with the Grizzlies, upping his career minor league total to 92 saves

2011: Started the season in the San Francisco Giants organization with Double-A Richmond, where he went 1-2 with a 3.98 ERA…Was 13 for 17 in save opportunities, converting his final nine chances in a row…Held right handed batters to a .217 average (15-69)…Had a 3.22 ERA (8 ER, 22.1 IP) when pitching in the ninth inning…Was traded to the Houston Astros on 7/19, along with RHP Henry Sosa, in exchange for IF Jeff Keppinger...Assigned to Corpus Christi and made 18 appearances with the Hooks, converting four of seven save opportunities. 
2010: Spent season with the Class-A San Jose Giants where we went 2-4 with a 4.80 ERA…His 25 saves in 29 chances led the SJ Giants, the whole SF Giants organization and was 4th in the California League (current orioles reliever Brad Brach led the league with 41)…Converted his last 13 save opportunities allowing just three earned runs in 12.1 innings pitched…Sported a 0.96 ERA (1 ER, 9.1 IP) with five saves and 14 strikeouts in July.
2009: Made 17 starts in his rookie season, nine for rookie league AZL Gaints and eight with the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes…Struck out 19 batters in 20 innings combined…Recorded his first professional save 8/2 with the Giants and recorded his first career win 8/31 with Salem-Keizer.
PERSONAL: Jason Anthony Stoffel was acquired by Baltimore fom Houston, in exchange for cash considerations, on 8/11/15...Originally selected by the San Francisco Giants in the 4th round of the 2009 draft…Played collegiately at the University of Arizona, where he set a school record with 13 saves during his sophomore season...Was a teammate of former Tides pitchers Preston Guilmet and Daniel Schlereth while at Arizona...Lettered in baseball for four years at Agoura High School (CA) where we was First team All-CIF his junior and senior seasons and the Marmonte League Pitcher of the Year as both a junior and senior.
