• Opened the season in the Red Sox system, combining to go 3-2 with a 2.90 ERA in 12 games (five starts) between
Class-A Salem and Double-A Portland before being acquired by Baltimore in a trade on June 3
• Acquired by Baltimore from Boston, in exchange for OF Alejandro de Aza, on June 3; joined Bowie on June 6
• Ranked among Eastern League leaders in fewest baserunners per 9 IP (2nd, 9.96), WHIP (3rd, 1.09), lowest walks
per 9 IP (3rd, 1.58) and ERA (6th, 2.79)
