Selected by the Toronto Blue Jays in the fourth round of the 2015 MLB Draft out of the College of Charleston (S.C.)... attended White Knoll High School in Lexington, South Carolina... son of Carl and Sherry Wise... earned Second Team All-CAA Honors as well as being named to the CAA All-Tournament Team in 2014 at Charleston... led Charleston with 54 RBIs in 2014... in 2013, named to NCBWA, Baseball America and Perfect Game Freshman All-America Second Team and was selected to the All-Freshman Team for the Southern Conference... led Charleston with 10 homers in 2013... in high school at Whitie Knoll, he was named to the All-State and All-Region teams in 2011 and 2012 and as a Select All-Star in 2012; won a Region V AAAA championship in 2011 and a AAAA state championship in 2010 and was rated second among shortstops in South Carolina by Diamond Prospects... signed with the Blue Jays on June 15, 2015... assigned to Rookie-level Bluefield on 6/23/15 for his Minor League debut... collected his first professional hit the following day, 6/24/15.
