Host An IronBirds Player This Season
Without a nest, where would an IronBird stay?
Have you ever wondered where minor leaguers stay during their short time in Aberdeen? Every summer, the Orioles' 40+ players and staff descend upon the House that Cal built, and need a nest to call home for 2.5 months! Do you have an extra bed, a basement with a sleeper sofa, or a cozy den where an IronBird might be able to fit?
Playing only 76 games, 38 at home, and not needing laundry, transportation, or meals to be provided for them, tomorrow's MLB stars really just need somewhere safe to sleep and keep their things. The reality is, these guys only make about $750 per month after taxes playing in the New York-Penn League, and they don't have the time, funds, or ability to seek out an apartment to stay in while chasing their dreams.
