ARRE-GONE-DO: Bryndan Arredondo was the star in game two. With the bases loaded and two outs, he drilled a line drive grand slam to right to make it 4-0 IronBirds. It was just his second hit as a 'Bird, but came to bet the winner.
HALL INSURES IT:
TIGERS CLAW AWAY: Connecticut piled up four hits and three runs in the 4th inning. A wild pitch scored Peter Meadows first. Two more came on RBIs from
MAGEE PLUS CONROY = WIN: Kevin Magee kept Connecticut at bay for the two innings he threw, setting up Ryan Conroy for a save. Conroy allowed Eric De La Rosa an RBI double to make it 5-4, then sealed the deal by striking out Nick Ames. He got his sixth save in six opportunites.
