Unfortunately, Major League Baseball has determined that Minor League Baseball affiliates will not be provided with players for the 2020 season due to the COVID-19 public health crisis. No IronBirds games will be played at Leidos Field at Ripken Stadium in 2020.
o Tickets purchased as a part of a package, whether full-season, half-season, 10-game, 9-game, or 5-game, will be credited to 2021. Season seat members will be given their same seats, for the same amount of games, plus a certain amount of bonus tickets to be announced as soon as we have more information about the 2021 season. We are working on contacting individual season seat member account holders at the contact information we have on file. With over 3,000 season ticket holders, this may take some time, but we promise to be in touch as soon as possible. If you haven't heard from us yet, please call (410) 297-9292, and save that number in your phone, so you recognize it when we call to chat.
o For group tickets, we will be working with Group Leaders to find a 2021 date to which we can move their group, just as soon as we have a 2021 IronBirds schedule. In the meantime, we will be contacting Group Leaders with more information.
o Tickets for individual games, like crab feasts, will be given the same amount and type of tickets they originally purchased, to be used for 2021. We will be contacting customers with tickets to make sure they know what they are owed and how they may redeem those tickets next season.
The tickets you were sent as a season seat member do not need to be kept. On the back, there is a coupon to Dave & Busters, which we would encourage fans to use to support local business. Please keep your vouchers for gifts or mug club cups, as you will be able to redeem them in 2021.
Some people’s tickets have a remaining balance on their account, and their tickets were not delivered. We will be contacting those accounts as well.
If you have not heard from us through phone or email by July 30th, please feel free to call (410) 297-9292, or email [email protected] to contact us. Until then, please know that we will be contacting each account as soon as possible to make sure we are able to serve you appropriately.
We look forward to learning more about the IronBirds’ season in 2021 from Major League Baseball and Minor League Baseball, and will be posting updates on www.IronBirdsBaseball.com and on our social media as information becomes available.
We are working closely with local health officials and plan to provide the highest possible level of safety for our fans, following medical advice to make sure that our fans, employees, players, on-field staff, and front office are as safe as possible.
