RENO, Nev. - The Reno Aces Baseball Club and Reno 1868 FC, in conjunction with Greater Nevada Field, have announced Samantha Hicks has been named Chief Revenue Officer, and Chris Holland named Chief Operating Officer. Hicks and Holland will report directly to President Eric Edelstein and handle all events hosted at Greater Nevada Field.

"With the continued support of the Simon Family, I'm proud to promote these two key members of our teams to provide even more leadership and guidance into our bright future," Said Edelstein.

Hicks, originally from Michigan, got her start in sports with Palace Sports and Entertainment in 2007 as a Sales & Marketing Coordinator. Before moving to Reno, Hicks worked for Owner Herb Simon's other sports properties with the Indiana Pacers & Fever. Hicks moved from an Account Executive to management and left Indiana as Director, Fever Ticket Sales & Service. Hicks joined the Reno Aces as Vice President of ticket sales in 2015 following a six-year run at Pacers Sports and Entertainment. Upon this promotion to CRO, Hicks has spent a decade driving revenue in the sports industry.
"I am excited about the opportunity to continue to work for a first-class organization. Spearheading Marketing, Partnerships and the Fan Experience for both the Reno Aces Baseball Club and Reno 1868 is a great honor," said Hicks. "Greater Nevada Field will continue to be the pinnacle of entertainment venues in Northern Nevada."
Holland joined the Aces in 2016 as a Project Development Manager following nearly four years as Assistant General Manager of Learfield Sports; Lobo Sports Properties in Albuquerque, New Mexico. As COO, Holland will guide the facility with day to day operations as well as larger construction projects at Greater Nevada Field including the future 1868 FC clubhouse along with redesigning some of the hospitality areas inside the facility.
"I am incredibly honored to join the leadership team here at Greater Nevada Field. I look at continuing the progress Eric and the front office team have made as we continually find new ways outside of baseball and soccer to keep Greater Nevada Field as one of Northern Nevada's premiere venues now and in the future" said Holland.
