RENO, Nev. - Brett Butler, former championship manager of the Reno Aces, will be in attendance for the 2017 home opener on April 11 to have his jersey retired.

Butler guided the Aces to a 366-352 (.510) record in his five seasons (2009-2013) with the club. After leading Reno to its first-ever Pacific Coast League (PCL) playoff appearance in 2011, he skippered the 2012 PCL Champion and Triple-A National Champion Aces squad. Last summer, he managed the PCL team in the Triple-A All-Star Game hosted in Reno.

A fan favorite, Butler will meet with Aces Season Ticket Holders at Greater Nevada Field in 250 Lounge from 12:00 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. A Q & A session will be held with Aces broadcaster Ryan Radtke followed by fan questions and photo opportunities. Additionally, the former skipper will sign autographs for fans who purchase a special ticket package, which includes one infield reserved ticket, the autograph session, and a special autograph card. This package is available to the first 50 fans from 5:00 p.m. to 5:45 p.m.

Butler, a veteran of 17 Major League seasons, helped lead the San Francisco Giants to the 1989 National League pennant and was a National League All-Star in 1991 as a member of the Los Angeles Dodgers.
