STAR WARS NIGHT HEADLINES RENO ACES UPCOMING EIGHT-GAME HOMESTAND

RENO, Nev. - The Reno Aces will begin an eight-game homestand on Saturday, June 17, when they host the Las Vegas 51s - Triple-A affiliate of the New York Mets - for four games at Greater Nevada Field. Following Las Vegas, the Aces welcome the Seattle Mariners highest affiliate, the Tacoma Rainiers, to town for a four-game set beginning Thursday, June 22. The homestand will feature specialty games as well as giveaways, concession discounts and more.
To kick off the Aces fifth homestand, on June 17, the Aces will host Star Wars Night presented by Digestive Health and RN&R, which features a Koozie Giveaway, courtesy of Digestive Health, and a post-game, Star Wars-themed fireworks show. On this special night, Aces coaches & players will wear Star Wars themed jerseys which will be auctioned off throughout the game to benefit the Northern Nevada Children's Cancer Foundation. The 501st Legion & Rebels will also be appearing for autographs and pictures.
The homestand also features a Father's Day celebration at Greater Nevada Field on Sunday, June 18 with pre-game catch on the field before the start of the afternoon game against Las Vegas. On Saturday, June 24, there will be a Reno Aces tin lunchbox giveaway courtesy of Renown Health at the Rotunda entrance.
