RENO, Nev. - The Triple Play Sandwich, the signature dish at Aces Ballpark, has been named one of the participants in Minor League Baseball's "Food Fight" fan voting contest.

The Aces Ballpark unique sandwich has been named among 64 other concession items across Minor League Baseball. Split into four groups (Gut Busters, Hogs n' Dogs, Scrumptious Sandwiches and Local Legends), the Triple Play Sandwich is one of 16 participants within the "Local Legends" category.

Round One (The First Course) of the contest will begin on May 15. When fans go to the #foodfight landing page, they will be able to vote for one of the items in each of the four categories on each ballot. Fans are capable of submitting as many ballots as they would like. Voting is as simple as going to Twitter and using the hashtag #foodfight, and including the team's twitter handles.

The top vote getter in each group will move to the Final Round (Main Course), which will begin on Thursday, May 30. A similar round of voting will continue for one week, with the #foodfight champion being named on the afternoon of Thursday, June 6.

Everyone who votes will be included in a sweepstakes that will award one lucky winner airfare, hotel accommodations, and tickets to visit the winning team and sample the winning food item.

The triple-decker sandwich includes healthy portions of pulled pork and brisket, wedged between three slices of Pullman bread and generous amounts of coleslaw. Barbecue meatballs, pickles, and cherry peppers adorn the skewers that hold the sandwich together.

Levy Restaurants, the Aces Ballpark concessionaire, created the sandwich to celebrate the opening of Aces Ballpark in 2009. Since then, fans have raved about the sandwich, which is available exclusively at Aces Ballpark.
