Bowie's Erick Salcedo laced a run-scoring single and Austin Hays drove in two during the Baysox three-run seventh inning, snapping a scoreless tie with the RubberDucks on the way to a 4-0 Bowie win on Thursday night at Canal Park in Akron, Ohio.

Turning Point
The Baysox (66-68) snapped a scoreless tie with three runs in the top of the seventh when Salcedo singled in Anderson Feliz, who singled to lead off the frame, and then added two more when Hays doubled to left field, scoring Ryan McKenna who followed Feliz with a bunt single and Salcedo.
Mound Presence
Triston McKenzie threw six scoreless innings for the RubberDucks, allowing four hits, walking two and striking out four on 101 pitches. Reliever David Speer came in to pitch the seventh inning and he was charged with three runs on three hits in 0.1 innings of work. Kieran Lovegrove relieved Speer in the seventh with runners on the corners before surrendering Hays' two-run double, both runs being charged to Speer. Nick Pasquale, who was just promoted from Single-A Lynchburg and activated off the disabled list pitched the eighth and ninth innings. After a 1-2-3 eighth, he allowed a run in the ninth on three singles, the last a run-scoring single to left-center by Rylan Bannon to cap the scoring.
Duck Tales
The RubberDucks managed three hits off Bowie pitching, with Tyler Krieger, Nellie Rodríguez and Mark Mathias collecting the hits. Krieger's sixth-inning double was the only extra-base hit for Akron. The RubberDucks managed four walks on the night, but they hit into three double plays to kill potential scoring threats. Rehabbing Cleveland Indians outfielder Rajai Davis was 0-for-3 with a strikeout.
