Summary
New Hampshire's T.J. Zeuch delivered a dominant outing Thursday night, as he worked eight innings of two-hit, shutout baseball in a 3-0 victory over the Akron RubberDucks at Canal Park in Akron, Ohio.

Turning Point
The Fisher Cats (39-26) scored the only run necessary in the fifth when they reached Michael Peoples (1-2) for an unearned run. Harold Ramirez reached on a throwing error, advanced on a muffed pick-off throw, took third on a long fly ball, and finally scored on an RBI single by Gunnar Heidt.
Mound Presence
Peoples, making his second start since returning from the DL, only allowed two hits over five innings. He walked none and struck out five. In his two outings since missing six weeks with a right foot fracture, Peoples has allowed just one unearned run in nine innings of work. For the season, he's only allowed five runs, total, in six starts. Dominic DeMasi relieved Peoples in the sixth and worked three innings. He allowed two runs, one earned, in the eighth when New Hampshire extended the lead to 3-0.
Duck Tales
Zeuch (5-2) handcuffed the RubberDucks (37-29) for eight innings until he was inexplicably removed after just 89 pitches. He gave up just two harmless singles-one by Sam Haggerty, the other by Willi Castro-while walking only one and striking out four. He retired the final 11 batters he faced. Zeuch spent the first month of the season in High-A, and only joined the Fisher Cats on May 8th. Since then, he has five wins in seven starts.
Notebook
