Turning Point
With single runs in the third, fourth and fifth innings off right-hander Eli Morgan , the Sea Dogs tied the game, 4-4. In the bottom of the sixth inning against left-hander David Speer (2-3), second baseman Brett Netzer hit a leadoff double to left-center field - the last of five Sea Dogs doubles in the game. Third baseman Jeremy Rivera's sacrifice moved him to third base, and with the infield in, catcher Austin Rei hit a go-ahead RBI single to make it 5-4.
Mound Presence
Morgan allowed a first-inning run after a one-out double by right fielder Marcus Wilson, who scored on left fielder Luke Tendler's two-out RBI double to right field for a 1-0 Portland lead. Wilson homered in the third inning, trimming the deficit to 4-2. A triple and single in the fourth scored another run, and Wilson led off the fifth inning with a double, later scoring on first baseman Joey Curletta's game-tying double, ending Morgan's night after 4 1/3 innings and four earned runs. Speer escaped the inning but allowed the deciding run in 1 1/3 innings. Right-hander Argenis Angulo pitched 1 1/3 scoreless innings, and right-hander Robert Broom pitched a scoreless eighth inning. For Portland, Reyes lasted six innings, right-hander Eduard Bazardo pitched two scoreless innings, and left-hander Dedgar Jimenez went a scoreless ninth.

RubberDucks first baseman Nellie Rodríguez led off the second inning with a home run over the "Maine Monster" in left field - his first homer since July 6. Second baseman Andruw Monasterio hit a two-out double to left field and scored on left fielder Oscar Gonzalez 's go-ahead RBI double off the left-field wall. Catcher Logan Ice then hit an RBI single. In the third inning, right fielder Connor Marabell hit a leadoff double and scored on designated hitter Alexis Pantoja 's double.
