Albuquerque starter Sam Howard allowed one run over his 6.0 innings on the mound. The southpaw struck out six and walked one, receiving a no-decision.
After a scoreless seventh inning from Brooks Pounders and a scoreless eighth from Keith Hessler, D.J. Johnson allowed the game-winning run in the ninth.
At the plate, the Dukes' lone run came on Ryan McMahon's RBI double in the bottom of the sixth.
Prior to the game, Dean Treanor was inducted into the Albuquerque Professional Baseball Hall of Fame. Treanor is the winningest manager in Isotopes history, managing the club in 2003, and again from 2005-08.
The Isotopes and Rainiers wrap up the first half of the season on Sunday evening from Isotopes Park. Jon Gray is scheduled to get the start for Albuquerque. First pitch is set for 6:05 p.m.
