After dropping eight of their last nine games, the Isotopes (46-50) are back in the win column after a 7-1 victory over the Chihuahuas (52-45). With the win, Albuquerque moves back to within 5.5 games of first place El Paso in the PCL's Pacific Southern Division.

The victory was a true team effort for Albuquerque with solid outings from both the offense and pitching staff.
Eight of the nine Isotopes starters recorded a hit on the evening, while five different players drove in runs.
Jordan Patterson and Ryan McMahon each finished the ball game 2-for-4 while Mike Tauchman connected on a two-run home run, his 15th of the season.
Isotopes starting pitcher Jeff Hoffman also helped his own cause at the plate, connecting on an RBI single in what would be a five-run Isotopes bottom of the third.
On the mound, Hoffman took home the win. The right-hander allowed one run on four hits over his 5.1 innings on the hill, striking out three and walking four. Hoffman threw 90 pitches.
Relievers Scott McGough, Jerry Vasto and D.J. Johnson combined to shutout the Chihuahuas over the game's final three frames.
The Isotopes look to come away with a series split as Albuquerque and El Paso wrap up their four-game series on Thursday afternoon. First pitch in the series finale from Isotopes Park is set for 12:05 p.m.
