Isotopes Defeat Grizzlies as Winning Ways Continue

AT THE DISH: First baseman Yonder Alonso led the way with three hits on the night, including an RBI double … Josh Fuentes connected on the only home run of the night for Albuquerque, a towering shot over the Isotopes Park videoboard. The long ball was a three-run blast and Fuentes' eighth of the year.

 

TOEING THE RUBBER: Starting pitcher Tim Melville earned the win after allowing two runs over 6.2 innings … Melville struck out seven and walked one … Harrison Musgrave and DJ Johnson did not allow a run in relief over the contest's final 2.1 innings.

 

TOPES TIDBITS: The Isotopes have won seven of their last 10 games and are 5-1 since the All-Star Break.
