TOEING THE RUBBER: Starting pitcher Chris Rusin allowed four runs over 4.0 innings, striking out four and walking four. He did not receive a decision … Matt Pierpont earned the win out of the bullpen, allowing one run over his 2.0 innings … Phillip Diehl yielded two runs in 2.0 innings while James Pazos tossed a scoreless ninth.

 

AT THE DISH: Every Isotopes starter had at least one hit, with seven of the eight recording multi-hit games … Albuquerque hit nine doubles, tying the club's single-game record … Drew Butera finished the game 4-for-5 with four RBI. The veteran backstop was a home run shy of the cycle and connected on a triple and double in the fifth inning … Pat Valaika extended his hitting streak to 13 games after going 1-for-6 at the plate … Sam Hilliard finished the night 3-for-5 with three runs scored, a home run (35th) and two RBI. With his performance, Hilliard is now the Isotopes single-season leader in runs scored (108) and extra-base hits (71).
