Isotopes Fail to Hold Lead in 8-7 Loss

AT THE DISH: After getting hit in the head on Saturday and missing Sunday's game, Rockies top prospect Brendan Rodgers  had a big night. The infielder finished the game 4-for-5 with two solo home runs. The long balls were numbers eight and nine while Rodgers raised his average to .351 on the season ... Sam Hilliard  finished the day 3-for-5 with his team-leading 12th home run of the season … Isotopes pitcher Peter Lambert  also drove in two runs once again, also collecting two RBI in his last start.
 
TOEING THE RUBBERLambert held the Grizzlies scoreless through the contest's first four innings. However, the right-hander surrendered four runs in the fifth inning as Fresno chased Lambert from the game. He received a no-decision … Phillip Diehl  took allowed two runs over 1.1 innings while Matt Pierpont  also yielded two over one frame, taking the loss … The Isotopes held a 6-0 lead before the Grizzlies bats came alive.
