Isotopes Lose Despite Patterson's Big Night

It was a historic night for Jordan Patterson at Southwest University Park in El Paso, but the Isotopes (41-41) could not come away with a victory, falling to the Chihuahuas (44-39), 6-4, on Sunday. With the loss, the Isotopes drop back to the .500 mark on the season.

Patterson entered the ball game with 99 hit-by-pitches and 99 home runs in his professional career. By the time the contest was over, both of those numbers now sit at 100.
In the top of the second, Patterson was plunked for the 100th time in his professional career. He has been hit 45 times as an Isotope, an ongoing franchise record.
The Alabama native connected on his 100th professional career home run in the top of the sixth inning, his 19th of the season. Patterson has now homered in four of his last five games and has 59 round-trippers as an Isotope, one shy of Jason Wood's franchise record.
The Isotopes and Chihuahuas are back in action on Monday evening as they continue their five-game series in Texas. First pitch from Southwest University Park on Monday is set for 7:05 p.m.
