The ball was flying at Isotopes Park on Wednesday as the Isotopes (5-2) and 51s (1-6) combined for eight home runs and 18 extra-base hits as Albuquerque defeated Las Vegas, 17-11.

Three Isotopes hitters connected on home runs, with Drew Weeks coming through with two blasts on the evening. The round-trippers were Weeks' first of his Triple-A career. The 24-year-old finished the night 3-for-5 with 3 RBI.
Tom Murphy's torrid start to the season continued on Wednesday as the catcher blasted his third home run of the campaign. Murphy's .538 batting average continues to pace the Isotopes offense.
Despite the constant offensive output throughout the night, the most exciting moment of the game came in the third inning with Raimel Tapia at the plate. The 24-year-old ripped a Las Vegas offering past center fielder Matt den Dekker and proceeded to circle the bases for the 14th inside-the-park home run in Isotopes history.
Every Isotopes starter, including pitcher Matt Flemer, registered at least one hit by the bottom of the fourth inning.
The Las Vegas offense was also potent, plating seven runs against Flemer. Albuquerque reliever DJ Johnson earned his first Triple-A win and matched a career-high with five strikeouts during his 2.0 innings on the mound.
The Isotopes look for the three-game sweep against the 51s on Thursday afternoon when southpaw Harrison Musgrave takes the mound. He will be opposed by Las Vegas righty Chris Flexen. First pitch from Isotopes Park is set for 12:05 p.m.
