Isotopes Shut Out by Redbirds to Open Homestand

The Memphis Redbirds (39-27) defeated the Isotopes (32-33), 11-0, on Wednesday night at Isotopes Park. With the loss, the Isotopes have been shut out in three of their last four games. Albuquerque's six shutout losses are the most in the PCL in 2018.

The Isotopes pitching staff allowed five solo home runs to the Memphis offense on the night. Albuquerque has now surrendered 104 home runs in 2018, tied with the Las Vegas 51s for the most in affiliated baseball.
On a rehab assignment, Rockies reliever Zac Rosscup made his 2018 debut. The southpaw faced one batter and recorded a strikeout.
The Isotopes and Redbirds are back in action on Thursday at Isotopes Park. Right-hander David Holman is scheduled to toe the rubber for the Isotopes. First pitch is set for 6:35 p.m.
