Albuquerque's bats connected on four home runs on the evening with Garrett Hampson setting the tone on his leadoff round-tripper.
Raimel Tapia and Mike Tauchman each went deep, connecting on their 10th home runs of the 2018 campaign.
The big blow for the Isotopes came in the bottom of the eighth inning when Pat Valaika cleared the bases with a grand slam.
Valaika finished the evening 2-for-5 with three runs scored, a home run, triple and six RBI - one shy on his career-high.
Eight of the nine Isotopes starters recorded a hit with five players putting together a multi-hit performance.
In his first start back with the Isotopes after his promotion to the Rockies, Sam Howard received a no-decision. The southpaw allowed five runs on nine hits over his 4.0 innings of work. Howard walked three and struck out three.
The Isotopes look to make it three in a row on Monday when they are back in action with the Sounds. Lefty David Holmberg is scheduled to toe the rubber for Albuquerque. First pitch from Isotopes Park is set for 6:35 p.m.
