AT THE DISH: Taylor Motter hit a pair of home runs, a solo shot in the second and a two-run blast in the fifth … Brian Serven connected on his sixth home run of the season … Alan Trejo knocked in two more runs (including the game-tying sac fly in the tenth), giving him 18 RBI in July … Six of Albuquerque’s eight hits were of the extra-base hit variety.

TOEING THE RUBBER: José Mujica turned in another good start, giving up four hits and three runs over five innings Chris Rusin and Tate Scioneaux combined to give up three runs in the seventh to tie the game, including a two-run shot by C.J. Hinojosa … Heath Holder surrendered three runs (one earned) in the two extra innings and took the loss.

TOPES TIDBITS: The two teams combined for 21 hits, 16 for extras … Albuquerque did not commit an error for the tenth consecutive game, their longest stretch since going 13 errorless contests in a row in June 2006 … Wynton Bernard made a tumbling catch in center field to rob Jose Siri in the eighth inning and blew kisses to the crowd afterwards … The Isotopes lost a game when leading after six innings for the third time this season.
