AT THE DISH: Despite playing just five innings, six of the Isotopes nine batters tallied a hit on Thursday Rio Ruiz was the only Isotope with a multi-hit game, finishing the contest 2-for-3 with two runs scored and a home run. Ruiz is now hitting .320 on the year ... Sam Hilliard also remained hot at the dish, connecting on his 14th home run of the season, a three-run shot in the first. The blast was Hilliard's 10th since June 15.

TOEING THE RUBBER: Albuquerque starter Ian Clarkin (0-5, 8.92) took the loss, allowing seven runs on five hits while issuing five walks over 3.1 innings … Jesus Tinoco took over and did not allow a run during his 1.2 innings on the hill.

TOPES TIDBITS: Rain has caused four of the last five Isotopes games to be halted during or after the fifth inning … The Isotopes played this game as the Mariachis de Nuevo México.
