CURVE, Pa. - Sunday's game at Peoples Natural Gas Field between the Altoona Curve and the Hartford Yard Goats has been canceled due to rain. The game will not be made up with Sunday being the final scheduled meeting between the two clubs

Fans with tickets for Sunday's game can bring their ticket stubs back to the PNG Field box office to redeem them for a ticket for a remaining Curve home game in 2018 (of equal or lesser value, based on availability). The 2017 championship team poster giveaway will be rescheduled for a later date.

The Curve will have a day off on Monday before traveling to Binghamton on Tuesday to face the Rumble Ponies and Tim Tebow for three games. Right-hander Eduardo Vera (0-0, 1.93) will start for Altoona. First pitch is set for 6:35 p.m. on Tuesday at NYSEG Stadium.

After three games in Binghamton, the Curve return home for three games against the New Hampshire Fisher Cats and one of baseball's top prospects, Vladimir Guerrero Jr., beginning on Friday, June 15. The upcoming homestand will include fireworks on Friday and Sunday with the Adam Hyzdu bobblehead giveaway and appearance on June 16, presented by US Foods.
