PORTLAND, Maine. - Altoona Curve catcher Arden Pabst backed up a strong showing by starter Dario Agrazal with a homer and four RBIs in an 8-2 win over the Portland Sea Dogs on Sunday at Hadlock Field.

The Curve (67-55) claimed two of three in Portland to win the season series, four wins to three, over the Sea Dogs (53-70) in 2018. Through the first two stops on the Curve's eight-game road trip, Altoona owns a 4-2 record with two games remaining in Binghamton.
Pabst parked a three-run homer over the 37-foot high Maine Monster that capped a four-run second inning. The home run was Altoona's first hit of the game off Portland starter Kyle Hart (Loss, 7-9), who walked two hitters to set the table for the blast from Pabst. Later on in the seventh, Pabst matched a career-high with his fourth RBI of the game on a two-out, RBI single that extended the Curve lead to 8-2.
