Frisco, Texas - Sod Poodles starter Lake Bachar delivered 7.1 strong innings on Friday night at Dr. Pepper Ballpark, but Amarillo fell 2-1 on Friday night in the second game of a four-game series.

With the ballgame tied 1-1 in the ninth, Bachar allowed a double by Michael De Leon to begin the frame. After a walk, Kazuhisa Makita entered from Amarillo's bullpen. Makita proceeded to hit a batter followed by a fielder's choice. With the bases loaded, Makita then hit Yonny Hernandez with the bases loaded as Frisco took a 2-1 lead.
In the ninth, Ivan Castillo collected a leadoff single while Edward Olivares walked to put the tying and go-ahead runs aboard. Right-hander Demarcus Evans bounced back to strike out three batters in the inning, securing the save and Frisco's win.
Bachar allowed two singles in the first inning as Frisco took a 1-0 edge.
The Sod Poodles, who collected just two hits for the second straight game, tied the game in the third on Brad Zunica's solo homer. Zunica's 14th homer of the season tied the game at 1-1.
The score stayed that way until the eighth, with Bachar allowed just three hits and striking out eight.
