CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – The Chattanooga Lookouts are inviting Deadheads from across the region to make the trip to Erlanger Park on Saturday, August 22, for one of the most unique nights on the 2026 promotional calendar – Grateful Dead Night.

The Lookouts will celebrate the music and legacy of one of America's most influential bands when they take on the Birmingham Barons at 6:30 p.m. The evening will feature Grateful Dead-themed elements throughout Erlanger Park, including specialty jerseys, music from the legendary band and a pregame performance from St. Owsley.

The celebration begins before the first pitch with the Creature Comforts Saturday Concert Series, featuring St. Owsley, a Chattanooga-based band known for bringing the music of the Grateful Dead to life. The pregame concert will give fans the opportunity to enjoy live music while taking in the unique atmosphere of Erlanger Park before the game gets underway.

“Grateful Dead Night is exactly the kind of event we envisioned when we built Erlanger Park,” said Lookouts President Rich Mozingo. “It brings together great baseball, live music and a community of fans who share a passion for the Grateful Dead. We're excited to create a night that feels like a concert, a baseball game and a great Chattanooga experience all at the same time.”

The Lookouts will take the field in special Grateful Dead-themed jerseys that will be auctioned off after the game on milbauctions.com. Fans will also have the opportunity to purchase exclusive in-park Grateful Dead merchandise.

First pitch is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 22, with gates opening at 5:00 p.m. Fans are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy the St. Owsley pregame concert and all of the Grateful Dead-themed festivities throughout the ballpark.

Tickets for Grateful Dead Night are available now at Lookouts.com.
