The El Paso Chihuahuas beat the Albuquerque Isotopes 9-6 Wednesday night at Rio Grande Credit Union Field, giving both teams one win through the first two games of the series.

Chihuahuas shortstop Mason McCoy went 3-for-3 with a double, a sacrifice bunt and two RBIs. Right fielder Yonathan Perlaza went 1-for-4 with an RBI double. It was his eighth double of the season, which is tied for the league lead. Chihuahuas designated hitter Luis Campusano was 2-for-5 with a double, a triple and an RBI and he now has multiple hits in six of his last eight games.

Clay Dungan stole his second base in as many games for El Paso and now has six steals this season, which trails only Brice Matthews’ eight for Sugar Land. Jason Blanchard struck out four and faced the minimum six batters in his two-inning relief appearance to get the win. Blanchard hasn’t allowed any runs in six of his seven outings this season. Former San Diego Padres minor leaguer Owen Miller went 4-for-4 with a double and two RBIs in the loss for Albuquerque.
