The Round Rock Express shut out the El Paso Chihuahuas 8-0 Sunday afternoon at Southwest University Park. It was the fourth time this season the Chihuahuas were held without a run.

Jagger Haynes started for El Paso and allowed one run in five innings, his third consecutive start that he went five innings. Chihuahuas reliever Hunter Stratton pitched 1.1 scoreless innings and hasn't allowed any runs in his first seven appearances with El Paso, spanning 9.1 innings. The score was 1-0 in the seventh before Round Rock brought in seven late runs.

Round Rock won five of the six games in the series and went 15-9 against the Chihuahuas this year. The Chihuahuas won three of the 12 games on their two-week homestand. Round Rock left fielder Cam Cauley went 2-for-5 with a home run, a double and a stolen base, and he's 34-for-34 in stolen base attempts this season.
