SUMMARY
The Harrisburg Senators beat the Richmond Flying Squirrels 4-2 Saturday night at The Diamond in Richmond. The teams scored all six of their runs in the first inning. Harrisburg hit two two-run home runs in the first inning and Richmond scored their two runs on five hits in the first frame. While the offenses produced hits the remaining eight innings, neither team could push a run across the plate. The Senators look for a series win with a win Sunday afternoon.

Johnathon Thomas hit a two-run home run two batters into the game giving the Senators a 2-0 lead.
FILIBUSTERS
Murphy Stehly ran his hit streak to nine games with a two-run home run in the first inning. Phillip Glasser had two hits. The Sens were 0-for-7 with runners in scoring position.
TOP OF THE HILL
Kyle Luckham pitched five innings and allowed two runs on nine hits to earn the win and move to 4-2. Thomas Schultz, Garrett Davila, Holden Powell, and Michael Cuevas all tossed scoreless innings. Cuevas picked up his seventh save.
