Fightin Phils to Wear New Throwback Thursday Jerseys in 2025

(Reading, PA) - The Reading Fightin Phils, Double-A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies, will debut new jerseys on Throwback Thursday's in 2025. The uniforms will recognize the 1980s era of Phillies baseball with the throwback "R" and other elements from the Mike Schmidt-era.
The Throwback Jerseys will be worn by Reading for every Thursday home game in 2025. On Thursday’s, it will be “Reading Phillies Throwback Thursday,” presented by Berks Career and Technology Center and Renewal By Anderson.
As the Fightin Phils celebrate the 75th Anniversary of America's Classic Ballpark, the history of FirstEnergy Stadium will be recognized throughout the season. A large part of the history is the early days of the Reading and Philadelphia affiliation which featured a similar logo to the one the Fightin Phils will sports in 2025. The "throwback P" logo was the Phillies primary logo worn on their jerseys from the early-1970s through the early 1990s. As the Phillies occasionally wear the throwback logo and jersey, the Fightin Phils will follow suit this season.
Our nine 2025 Throwback Thursday games will be on the following dates:
Apr. 17, May 1, May 15, May 29, June 12, June 19, July 24, Aug. 28 and Sept. 11.

The Fightin Phils return to FirstEnergy Stadium to open the 2025 season against the Portland Sea Dogs on Friday, April 4, at 6:45 p.m. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased at rphils.com/tickets, by calling 610-370-BALL or in-person at the Customers Bank Ticket Office.
