Bluefield's Noda named Appalachian League Player of the Month

REDINGTON SHORES, Fla. - Minor League Baseball today announced Bluefield Blue Jays first baseman Ryan Noda has been named the Appalachian League Player of the Month for July.

Noda led the Appalachian League in hitting (.444), runs (32), walks (29), on-base percentage (.580), slugging percentage (.689), and OPS (1.269) in July. He finished second in the league in hits (40) and third in extra-base hits (14) and total bases (62).

Noda, 21, was selected by Toronto in the 15th round of the 2017 First-Year Player Draft out of the University of Cincinnati.
