AquaSox Announce 2014 Roster

Four players return to Everett from 2013 team

The Everett AquaSox announced their roster for the 2014 season on Thursday, June 12th. Four players are returning from the 2013 AquaSox, joined by seven members of the 2014 MLB Draft class. The team is managed by first year manager Dave Valle, a fixture with the Mariners broadcast team who spent 21 seasons in professional baseball between the Mariners, Red Sox, Brewers and Rangers.

Returning to the AquaSox in 2014 are 2013 Northwest League All-Star infielder Bryan Brito, Dominican born outfielder Phillips Castillo, Venezuelan pitcher Ricardo Pereira and Dominican pitcher Rigoberto Garcia.

Two local players are in the mix for the AquaSox this season, as 2013 draftee and Covington native Jordan Cowan as well as Maple Valley infielder Taylor Smart join the Frogs for the 2014 campaign.

Also out of the 2014 draft are pitchers Dan Altavilla, the Mariners' 5th round pick, pitcher Kody Kerski, the Mariners' 8th round pick, catcher Adam Martin, and infielders Chris Mariscal and Sheehan Planas-Arteaga. A complete roster can be found at aquasox.com.
