Katie Crawford Named NWL Woman Executive of the Year

Director of Community Relations is NWL's nominee for Rawlings Woman Executive of the Year Award
October 21, 2013

The Everett AquaSox are proud to announce that Katie Crawford, Director of Community Relations, has been named the 2013 Northwest League Woman Executive of the Year, as well as the Northwest League's nominee for Rawlings Woman Executive of the Year Award.

The Rawlings Woman Executive of the Year award is given out annually to one female executive who "has made an outstanding contribution to her club, league or to baseball". The winner will be selected by Minor League Baseball and will be honored at the 2013 Baseball Winter Meetings in Orlando, Florida in December.

Crawford has been with the AquaSox for five seasons, after spending time with the Frisco Rough Riders (AA-Texas) and the Houston Astros in their Community Relations departments. She heads up community and media relations for the AquaSox, as well as day-of-game entertainment, and is active in ticket sales and day to day operations. She helped spearhead the planning of the very successful 2013 Northwest League All-Star Game in Everett this past season, the first of a now annual event for the league and has introduced programs and events including the team's annual Challenger League Day at the ballpark and the popular Silver Sluggers and Future Frog programs.

AquaSox full-season and mini-plan ticket packages are on sale now for the 2014 season, which kicks off on June 13, 2014. For additional ticket information, call (425) 258-3673 or visit aquasox.com.
