Travelers win season series from Naturals, 12 games to six

North Little Rock, AR—Emerson Hancock matched his career high with seven innings pitched leading the Arkansas Travelers to a 5-0 shutout win over the Northwest Arkansas Naturals on Sunday afternoon at Dickey-Stephens Park. North Little Rock, AR—Emerson Hancock matched his career high with seven innings pitched leading the Arkansas Travelers to a 5-0 shutout win over the Northwest Arkansas Naturals on Sunday afternoon at Dickey-Stephens Park. Working around two hits and a walk, Hancock struck out five and earned his fifth win of the season. Jake Scheiner posted two hits including a home run and drove in two while Jake Anchia had a three hit game.

Moments That Mattered

* Hancock was faced with trouble early when speedy Diego Hernandez reached on an error in the first and stole second base. But Hancock was up to the task getting the Naturals three and four hitters on a groundout and a strikeout to end the inning.

* Anchia put Arkansas on top with a two out RBI single in the fourth. The next batter hit a grounder to shortstop that was booted allowing another run to score and prolonging the inning and the Travs went on to score four times in that fourth inning.
