North Little Rock, AR-Ariel Jurado pitched a complete game shutout as the Frisco RoughRiders defeated the Arkansas Travelers, 2-0 on Friday night at Dickey-Stephens Park. Jurado needed only 86 pitches to go the distance while holding the Travs to six hits with no walks and one strikeout. Arkansas did not get a runner past first base until the eighth inning. The right-hander, who had made his previous start in the big leagues for the Rangers, recorded seventeen outs via groundballs including two double plays.
Moments That Mattered
* Yanio Perez was hit by a pitch with two out in the fourth and Preston Beck made it pay off as he roped a triple to right-center field to put Frisco on top.
* Michael De Leon had a two out RBI hit to extend the RoughRider lead in the sixth, capitalizing on a leadoff double from Carlos Garay.
* The Travs first two hits of the game were immediately erased in double plays as Jurado faced the minimum for the first five innings.

Arkansas and Frisco continue the series on Saturday night. The Travs have not announced a starting pitcher, with the previously scheduled starter Andrew Moore traded to Tampa Bay on Friday. Frisco will send righty Tyler Davis (0-4, 8.03) to the hill. First pitch is set for 6:10 and the first 1,000 fans will receive a Travs team card set.
