Wichita, KS—Caleb Hamilton hit a tie breaking three-run home run as part of a five run sixth inning and the Wichita Wind Surge handed the Arkansas Travelers a 6-4 loss on Saturday night. It was the third consecutive loss for the Travs and their ninth in the last 10 games.

Wichita, KS—Caleb Hamilton hit a tie breaking three-run home run as part of a five run sixth inning and the Wichita Wind Surge handed the Arkansas Travelers a 6-4 loss on Saturday night. It was the third consecutive loss for the Travs and their ninth in the last 10 games. Arkansas starter Devin Sweet pitched shutout ball for the first five innings before the Wind Surge scored five times with two out in the sixth ruining his outing. Wichita used three pitchers in the game, none throwing more than 3.1 innings and holding the Travs down.

Moments That Mattered

* Arkansas got on the board on a booming homer off the bat of David Masters in the top of the fifth. It was the first home run of the season for Masters.

* With two on and two out in the bottom of the sixth Josh Morgan made a diving stop of a grounder behind second base but his one hop throw (off one knee) to first base skipped past Joe Rizzo allowing the tying run to score. Hamilton then followed with the go-ahead three run blast just inside the left field foul pole.
