North Little Rock, AR-The Arkansas Travelers dropped a 5-2 decision to the Northwest Arkansas Naturals on Thursday night and split a four game series. The Travs did win the season series from the Naturals, 19 games to nine. It was a frustrating offensive night for the Travs going 1-11 with runners in scoring position on the night and leaving nine runners on base. Starting pitcher Justin Dunn delivered a solid six innings giving up just three runs but was tagged with the loss. Gerson Garabito was the winner for the Naturals throwing five innings with four relivers combining to slam the door over the final four innings.
Moments That Mattered
* Nick Zammarelli gave the Travs the lead and their only runs of the night when he ripped a ground rule double to right field with the bases loaded in the second inning.
* NW Arkansas took the lead for good when Emmanuel Rivera blooped a single into right-center scoring Khalil Lee in the sixth. Lee had reached on a fielder's choice and stolen second base, one of six steals on the night for their team.
