Gaddis Strong in Loss to Crawdads
ASHEVILLE- The lone bright spot for the Asheville Tourists on Thursday night was starting pitcher Will Gaddis . The Tourists right-hander pitched seven innings for his third straight quality start; however, Asheville was blanked by the Hickory Crawdads 3-0.Gaddis allowed only two runs and lowered his season ERA to 4.47.

Gaddis allowed only two runs and lowered his season ERA to 4.47. The Brentwood, TN native scattered six hits and worked out of a couple of jams in impressive fashion.

Hickory will aim for a series sweep on Friday while the Tourists will attempt to salvage the series finale. Friday night's contest will begin at 7:05pm.
