Hippies Held Without a Hit; Not Cool

ASHEVILLE- The Asheville Hippies were no-hit by the Greenville professional baseball team on Thursday night in a 5-1 loss. The no-hitter was the first thrown at McCormick Field since Bruce Billings' no-hitter in 2008.
After De Jesus retired the next batter, the inning was extended on a strikeout throwing error. That led to Asheville's only run of the game.
Following the strikeout, Greenville's manager Iggy Suarez pulled De Jesus and the lefty received a standing ovation from the visiting crowd. Devin Fisher and
