ASHEVILLE- Entering the bottom of the second inning on Friday night, the Tourists were without a run over their last 15 innings played and trailing 2-0. Jeff Moberg changed that when he launched a two-run Home Run to tie the game. Asheville used that momentum to knock off the Hickory Crawdads 6-3 in the series finale.
Sean Bouchard quickly gave the Tourists a lead they would never relinquish. Asheville's first-baseman belted a two-run Home Run of his own in the bottom of the third. The Crawdads managed a run in the top of the fifth; however, Nick Kennedy ended the threat with his eighth strikeout of the game.

Kennedy pitched five innings to secure his second consecutive win. Moises Ceja , who was celebrating his birthday, pitched a perfect sixth inning. Hunter Williams came in and tossed a pair of scoreless frames before Tommy Doyle recorded his 13th save of the season by finishing the game on the mound.
The Tourists added a pair of insurance runs towards the latter stages of the game. Nic Motley drove in Moberg with a sacrifice fly in the sixth and Bouchard created a run all on his own in the seventh. Bouchard singled, stole second, stole third, and scored on a wild pitch.
The Crawdads outhit the Tourists 11-7 in the game but Asheville worked six walks and had runners on base all game. Tyreque Reed recorded three hits for the visitors.
Asheville's homestand continues on Saturday night with the Augusta GreenJackets coming to town. The Tourists and the 'Jackets will play a four-game series with tomorrow night's contest scheduled for 6:05pm.
