Tourists Break All-Time Single Season Attendance Record

ASHEVILLE- The 2019 season of Asheville Tourists baseball will go down in the record books. The Asheville Tourists organization broke the single season attendance record this year. McCormick Field welcomed 187,718 fans through the gates which broke the previous record of 184,019 set in 2017.

This is the sixth consecutive season the Asheville Tourists have broken either a single season or average game attendance record. The Tourists finish the 2019 regular season on the road; however, McCormick Field could potentially host playoff games in the post-season.
