WEATHER POLICY/RAIN CHECKS

Weather Policy

We make every attempt to play each Auburn Doubledays home game as scheduled. We have excellent field drainage and we utilize tarps to cover the infield area if rain is anticipated when the Doubledays are scheduled to play a home game.

IN GENERAL, THE EARLIEST WE WOULD MAKE THE DECISION TO POSTPONE A GAME IS TWO HOURS PRIOR TO GAME TIME, WHICH IS ONE HOUR BEFORE THE GATES OPEN. The decision to postpone a game will be made based on current and forecasted weather, as well as field conditions, player safety, and fan comfort.

Fans are encouraged to check the front page of our web site as well as our facebook and twitter pages for updates in the event of inclement weather. Fans may also call our office at 315-255-2489 for updates. Please note that we can not reply to individual emails, facebook posts/messages, or tweets about weather-related issues.

Rain Check Policy

In the event that a regulation game as defined by Minor League Baseball (5 full innings or 4 1/2 innings if the home team is ahead) is not played due to weather, an act of God, or any other reason, the ticket will constitute a rain check that can be exchanged for a ticket of equal or lesser value to any Auburn Doubledays regular season home game played within one calendar year of the originally scheduled game, subject to availability.

Fans must exchange their paid tickets in person at the Auburn Doubledays ticket office. Rain checks can not be issued for complimentary tickets.

Refunds can not be issued for tickets under any circumstance.
