Hitting Woes Continue In Columbia

The GreenJackets once again struggled to produce hits in the ballgame. They were only able to get seven hits, that resulted in no runs. The bright spot at the plate were
The Fireflies scored one run in each inning from the fourth until the seventh. Columbia who only had three more hits than the GreenJackets, were able to get runners on early in those innings. They used this to their advantage as they were to push across four runs.

The GreenJackets are still 1.5 back of the Rome Braves in the Southern Division with seven games left to play in the first half. Now Augusta will welcome the West Virginia Power to SRP Park for a four game series. Game one starts tomorrow at 7:05 pm.
