GreenJackets Release Home Game Times for 2022 Schedule

Opening Day is April 19th, 2022

NORTH AUGUSTA, SC: The Augusta GreenJackets, Low-A East League affiliate of the 2021 World Series Champions Atlanta Braves, have announced the home game times, as set by Major League Baseball, for the 5th season at SRP Park.

“With the 2022 game schedule and times now released, our staff is busy planning a memorable 5_th_ Anniversary season at SRP Park,” stated Tom Denlinger, GreenJackets Vice President. “Amazing things happened in 2021 with the new affiliation, as well as Braves World Series Title. Safe to say things are already buzzing for Opening Night on April 19_th__, 2022.”_

Tuesday – Friday game times will be at 7:05pm and Saturday game times will be at 6:05pm. Sunday games will start at 1:35pm from April until July 3rd where they will change to 5:05pm starting on July 17th, with the exception of May 29th (6:05pm), July 3rd (6:05pm), and September 4th (6:05pm). The GreenJackets will not play on Mondays as that is a league off day.

2021 was the kick-off to the new affiliation with the Atlanta Braves, having accepted back in February. SRP Park saw several Braves top prospects including Ryan Cusick, Vaughn Grissom, and Spencer Strider. With the Atlanta Braves taking home the 2021 World Series Champion title, the GreenJackets are looking forward to the talent taking the field in 2022.

The Augusta GreenJackets also saw success off the field ranking #1 in the Low-A League in attendance (out of 30) and ranked in the Top 20 in all of Minor League Baseball (out of 120). SRP Park has welcomed over 275,000 fans through it gates between GreenJackets Baseball and Special Events throughout the year, which included Clemson Baseball, Border Bash, Shinedown Concert, Meetings and other Community events.

Tuesday-Friday: 7:05 p.m.

Saturday: 6:05 p.m.

Sunday: 1:35 p.m./ 7/17 on: 5:05pm

Tuesday, April 26th (Education Day): 11:05am

Sunday, May 29th (Memorial Day Weekend): 6:05pm

Tuesday, June 14th (Business Persons Special/Camp Day): 12:05PM

Sunday, July 3rd (Independence Day): 6:05pm

Sunday, September 4th (Labor Day): 6:05pm
