Royals, Astros Postponed Monday

Clubs will play doubleheader Tuesday

GREENEVILLE, TENN.- Monday's scheduled game between the Burlington Royals and Greeneville Astros was postponed due to inclement weather at Pioneer Park.


The clubs will play a doubleheader on Tuesday, August 8, with first pitch in game one coming at 5:00 p.m., and game two to follow. RHP Nathan Webb (3-3, 4.35) starts for Burlington in game one against Greeneville RHP Leovanny Rodriguez (3-0, 1.80). Royals RHP Connor Mayes (3-0, 3.20) starts in the nightcap. Burlington will return home on Wednesday, August 9 to face the Pulaski Yankees at 7:00 p.m. It will be Reader Appreciation Night! Children who complete the Alamance County Public Libraries and B-Royals' Reading Program will be celebrated with an on-field parade before the game.
